Which household changes qualify

Marriage, a birth, an adoption or foster placement, a divorce, and a death in the household can all open a window.

Coverage for a new child can typically start from the day they arrive, so a newborn is not left uninsured for their first weeks.

Everyone on one plan

Financial assistance is calculated on household income and household size.

The 60-day window

Real, and easy to miss with a newborn in the house.

Open Enrollment runs November 1 to January 15.
